Jason O’Dell is a principal and managing partner of OJM Group. He is a co-author of more than ten books, including For Doctors Only: A Guide To Working Less and Building More and Fortune Building for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs. In addition, Jason co-authored two specialty-specific books in our Wealth Protection Planning series, For Orthopaedic Surgeons and For Dermatologists.
Jason is an experienced entrepreneur, financial consultant and investment advisor, who has worked with high-net-worth and physician clients for over 20 years. He has conducted financial planning, asset protection and wealth management lectures throughout the country and has been recognized by Medical Economics as “One of the Best Financial Advisers to Physicians” (2002, 2004, 2006, 2008 – 2013)1 and by Cincinnati Magazine as a “Top Wealth Manager.”
Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The Ohio State University and earned a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning, Denver, CO. Jason chairs the Advisory Board of Partners Financial, serves on the Boards of Directors of the AALU and Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Cincinnati, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and Cincinnati Estate Planning Council.
David B. Mandell, JD, MBA is a principal of OJM Group. David is an author and renowned authority in the fields of risk management, asset protection and financial planning.
As a writer, David co-authored several books for John Wiley & Sons, Inc., the oldest book publisher in the U.S. and the leading business book publisher in the world. Titles include Wealth Protection: Build & Preserve Your Financial Fortress and Wealth Secrets of the Affluent: The Keys to Fortune Building and Asset Protection. David has also written ten books for physicians, including For Doctors Only: A Guide to Working Less & Building More, and state-specific versions of the book in California, Ohio, Georgia and New York. David also penned Risk Management for the Practicing Physician, a Category 1 CME-certified monograph with five editions since 1998.
In addition to his books, his articles have appeared in over 30 leading national publications, including The American Medical News, Physicians Money Digest and over 20 regional or specialty medical publications, as well a number of general business periodicals, including Inflight Magazine, Yachts International and JCK Circular, the largest jewelry-industry magazine in the U.S. David has been interviewed as an expert in national media outlets, like Bloomberg and FOX-TV.
David has addressed numerous local and national organizations, from national medical associations (such as the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, among many others) to entrepreneurial organizations and meetings of attorneys, CPAs and financial professionals.
David holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University (Cum Laude). He earned his law degree from the University of California Los Angeles’ School of Law, where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for achievement in legal ethics. While at UCLA, David also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management.
CAROLE C. FOOS CPA
Carole Foos is a Principal of OJM Group, and aCertified Public Accountant (CPA) offering tax analysis and tax planning services to OJM Group clients. Carole has over 20 years of experience in public accounting in the field of taxation. She was formerly a manager in the tax department of a Big 4 firm and spent several years in public accounting at local firms. She has been a tax consultant to both individuals and businesses providing compliance and planning services over the course of her career. In addition to her work for OJM, Carole maintains a tax practice in Cincinnati. She is a co-author of the books For Doctors Only: A Guide To Working Less and Building More, For Doctors Only: Highlights Edition and Fortune Building for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs, along with state specific editions in the For Doctors series.
Carole received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Xavier University where she majored in accounting.

Michael Lewellen is the Director of Financial Planning at OJM Group. Michael works with clients at every step of the firm’s planning process, from the data-gathering phase through plan delivery and implementation.
Michael conducts seminars in Cincinnati, Columbus, Lexington, and Louisville covering the areas of basic financial planning, wealth accumulation, asset protection, and debt management. Michael is a co-author of the book Financial Planning for Physicians: Strategies for Saving Money and Securing your Financial Future – From Student Loan Repayment Through Retirement; and a contributing author of the book For Ohio Doctors: Shedding Light on Asset Protection, Tax & Estate Planning. He has been recognized by Medical Economics as one of the nations’ 150 best financial advisors for

Bob Peelman is the Director of Wealth Management at OJM Group. He oversees the firm’s wealth management practice. He has over 14 years of experience in wealth management, where his career has focused on serving the needs of successful individuals, families, endowments, and foundations. Bob works with clients to help manage their wealth responsibly, grow it tax-efficiently, and maintain it for years to come so that it fulfills the lifestyle they want to lead. Prior to joining OJM, Bob was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
An active member in the community, Bob currently serves as a board member for DCCH Center for Children & Families. Additionally, Bob also serves his community in Leadership Northern Kentucky as well as various committees.
Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and has earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner™.

John Kelly is a Financial Advisor in OJM Group’s Arizona office. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, John has held sales, and sales management positions at several insurance companies and insurance brokerages, and founded Integrated Financial Group (IFG) in 1995. He is a co-author of the book, For California Doctors: A Guide to Asset Protection, Tax and Estate Planning and For Doctors Only: A Guide To Working Less and Building More, Highlights Edition.
John specializes in the areas of Executive Compensation Plans, Business Continuation, and Retirement Planning, including qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation and disability income plans. Qualified plan clients range from single-person, professional corporation plans to large companies with thousands of employees. John also works with closely held businesses and professionals to in his efforts to maximize retirement income.
John earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. He obtained his Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and his Registered Health Underwriter® (RHU®) from The National Association of Health Underwriters in Washington, D.C.

Seymour Zimbalist is a Financial Advisor in OJM Group’s New York office. Seymour works with physicians, business owners and entrepreneurs in the Northeast to introduce them to OJM Group’s comprehensive range of multi-disciplinary planning services and develop strategies in the areas of asset protection, corporate structure, wealth management, and personal and corporate tax reduction.
Seymour’s background includes over 27 years of detailed insurance planning, business plan funding and wealth conservation and transfer for high net worth individuals, business owners and professionals. Prior to joining OJM Group, Seymour served as the Sales Vice President for the Highland Capital Brokerage, New York Metro Office and as an Insurance and Wealth Management advisor with Citigroup, UBS and Merrill Lynch. He holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) from the American College in Pennsylvania.

David Snyder is a Financial Advisor in OJM Group’s Cincinnati Office. He has over ten years experience in the Financial Services industry, which followed a ten year law practice in various fields. David specializes in the area of providing financial security planning to professionals and their families, as well as working with business clients on the many needs facing their companies. David finds insurance and investment solutions that blend tax efficiency, long term savings strategies, and family protection.
David has a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from The Ohio State University College of Law. In addition, David holds a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation from the American College.
ANDREW TAYLOR CFP®
Andrew Taylor is a Wealth Advisor with 19 years of experience working with affluent individual investors. His career in the financial industry has focused on providing customized investment management, and comprehensive wealth planning in a tax efficient manner for his clients. Prior to joining OJM Group, Andrew spent 13 years at Charles Schwab & Co. managing and growing a substantial practice in the greater Cincinnati area, and working with local attorneys and CPAs to implement integrated wealth planning for his clients. Andrew’s experience includes time as a Retirement Consultant at Fidelity Investments, where he provided strategic planning solutions for individuals experiencing a career transition.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a member of the Financial Planning Association.
ADAM BRAUNSCHEIDEL CFP®
Adam Braunscheidel is a Wealth Advisor at OJM Group. His responsibilities include account management, investment research, and comprehensive investment planning in a tax efficient manner for OJM clients.
Adam graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Adam was one of 14 undergraduate portfolio managers who were responsible for a $1 million endowment fund. He has earned his Series 65 license and Bloomberg Equity Certification, and has earned the designation of Certified Financial Planner™.
JASON WAINSCOTT JD
Jason Wainscott is the Chief Compliance/Operations Officer and General Counsel and is responsible for administering and enforcing OJM Group’s compliance and supervisory policies and procedures. He monitors OJM’s consumer regulatory compliance activities and provides reasonable assurance that operational controls are adequately implemented and operating as intended to comply with federal laws and state regulatory requirements. OJM has implemented our compliance program in order to contribute to our immediate and long-term success by ensuring that our clients’ interests are prioritized.
Prior to joining OJM, Jason served as Staff Counsel for the Cincinnati Insurance Company. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. Jason is currently admitted to the Ohio bar and the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the ABA, the OSBA and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Kathy Allard is the Marketing Coordinator at OJM Group. She coordinates the content and schedule for the firm’s newsletter, webinars, videos and other marketing communications. Kathy is also the liaison between OJM principals and their numerous speaking engagements for medical societies, physician associations, business and entrepreneur organizations and other professional groups.
Kathy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton and has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and client services.
Lynn Lukey is the Underwriting Coordinator at OJM Group. Her responsibilities include the general oversight of insurance services. Lynn also serves as the primary liaison between OJM clients and the insurance companies with whom we partner. In addition to a background in insurance underwriting, Lynn has over 20 years of experience in various underwriting and customer service capacities in the banking and mortgage industries.
Kristen Courtney is the Client Service Associate at OJM Group. She assists with the daily operations of OJM’s Wealth Management Division. Her responsibilities include onboarding new clients, assisting with, and carrying out client service requests, and coordinating client presentations.
Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in International Business from John Carroll University.
ANNE M. SEPTIC CPA
Anne Septic is the Senior Accountant at OJM Group. She manages the internal accounting operations, payroll, and IT support for OJM’s insurance services, investment planning division, and various other subsidiaries. An accounting professional with a diverse background, Anne has over 20 years of experience in both public and private accounting, with organizations large and small, in industries ranging from health insurance, hospitality, real estate investment and non-profits.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Miami University and a Masters of Business Administration from Xavier University.
Emily is a Client Services Associate and Marketing Assistant at OJM Group. She acts as a liaison between OJM clients and the firm’s team of specialists to streamline the multidisciplinary planning process and coordinates complimentary consultations for prospective clients. Emily also assists OJM’s Marketing Team with the implementation of marketing and communications programs.
Emily earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Xavier University and brings four years of experience in client services and marketing to her role at OJM Group.
