Our Process Begins with Education
OJM's principals pride themselves on being educators as well as professionals. OJM's principals have lectured at hundreds of conferences to professionals, business owners, fellow financial professionals, accountants, and attorneys. OJM seminars have been accredited for continuing education credits for financial and insurance professionals, accountants, attorneys and physicians.
Though OJM provides numerous formal presentations and writes books and articles, the greatest commitment it has is to teaching its clients. Seminars, books and articles provide general advice, but clients engagements are far more personal as a great deal of personal information is shared. OJM's unique planning process is so much more than analyzing comprehensive financial situations and implementing recommended action steps. The engagement for the planning process has a goal of helping reduce stress and concern and improving a total Wealth Plan. To do this effectively, OJM teaches clients why a particular element should be changed and why a suggested course of action is in the client's best interest.
OJM offers its books, articles, recorded lectures, special reports and other materials to help potential clients understand the types of problems OJM can address and offers actual clients useful background information in a way that helps clients become more valuable partners in the decision-making, planning and implementation phases. This process may take longer than it would without the commitment to education, but it wouldn't be as successful over the long term.
